Having recently closed its $30m Series C financing round, the company is continuing a rapid roll-out of its services and further expanding internationally.

In this context, Zenjob is looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on leader with a ‘can-do’ mindset to join us in the newly created role of Marketing Manager - Netherlands. Working either from Amsterdam or the Zenjob HQ in Berlin, as part of the international marketing team, it is your mission to build the brand and drive all marketing initiatives for the Dutch market. Using your cultural sensitivity and in-depth knowledge of the Dutch market, you know which marketing channels to leverage in order to increase brand awareness and market penetration for Zenjob.


Your Role:

We are looking for a generalist who is comfortable working both in offline and online marketing/social media. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Define and implement the overall (online) marketing and content strategy for the Dutch market
  • Define route to market and work with the Dutch country management and central marketing team to establish an optimal channel plan, and set up local marketing campaigns and promotion efforts accordingly
  • Develop concepts, implement, evaluate and optimize all local social media channels (Facebook, Instagram), including definition of KPIs
  • Collaborate closely with central teams for social media, content marketing, B2B and in-house design teams to synchronise the approach and support on exciting content marketing initiatives/campaigns
  • Build up and manage a strong pool of influencers to support the brand
  • Support central PR lead with executing local PR stunts and/or events
  • Execute email marketing campaigns with support from central CRM team

Your Profile:

  • Strong educational qualifications in Marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of work experience as a marketer in the Netherlands. Experience in a two-sided marketplace is a plus
  • Ability to develop and execute against strategic marketing plans with specific goals, timelines and KPI’s
  • Excellent collaboration skills and comfortable working in a matrix organization with parts of the team sited in a different country
  • Self-starter with an independent, responsible, and structured way of working and the ability to think in a process-oriented manner
  • Fluent in Dutch (native speaker or C1), fluency in English required, German is a plus
